Minerals: Building Blocks and Economic Resources
Each and every moment of the day we are using mineral resources that come from the Earth, whether driving our cars, putting on make-up, taking vitamins, or using our cell phones. Each mineral has a distinct chemical composition; elements and atoms bonding together to produce various properties that define a mineral's economic importance or aesthetic beauty.
